Senior Protocol Specialist, Ecosystem & Strategic Partnerships
Symbiotic is a protocol for collateral infrastructure: a marketplace connecting staked capital with protocols that need economic security or underwriting capacity. I was part of the ecosystem team, in a hybrid role spanning business development, partner research, and go-to-market.
- Key relationship manager for Symbiotic's network of capital allocators: the funds, risk managers, and vault curators (specialist teams running pooled deposit strategies) whose deposits represented roughly $0M in total value locked. Partners included Gauntlet, Mellow, Renzo, Etherfi, Re7 Capital, and P2P.org. Ran recurring syncs and supported them through product upgrades and transitions.
- Researched and developed new use-case verticals for the platform, most notably DeFi insurance, owning the full cycle: scoping the opportunity, pitching teams, onboarding them alongside the developer-relations team, and connecting them with capital partners.
- Primary BD owner of the Nexus Mutual partnership, internally described as the company's most important deal closed at the time. It required months of technical alignment, curator outreach, legal framework development, and competitive positioning. It also marked a major step forward in how the protocol is monetized, becoming the first partnership through which Symbiotic earned revenue directly from the use of its platform.
- Customer success and GTM support for CAP Protocol, an onchain credit protocol building on Symbiotic with over $0M on the platform, supporting curator relationships and capital formation.
- Creator and host of the Symbiotic Blueprints podcast (13 episodes), interviewing guests including Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal, Etherfi CEO Mike Silagadze, and Ethereum Foundation protocol co-lead Barnabé Monnot.
